Tips on Choosing the Perfect Ladder

Choosing the right ladder for doing maintenance on your RV can be very tricky. You want something that is going to be lightweight and easy to store, but on the other hand you NEED one that will be sturdy and safe.

Choosing the right size or length is just as important as the ladder style. One of the most common and potentially dangerous ladder selection mistakes is purchasing a ladder that is either too short or too long. Different styles of ladders are designed to keep the user safe and productive when climbing.

We reviewed many different ladders from lightweight collapsible to heavy types. We found a great ladder at CampingWorld that folded 6ft x 4″, but it was so lightweight that the reviews said it was not sturdy past the second rung. We finally decided to purchase the Little Giant Ladder with work platform. It is the safest and the most sturdy ladder that I found. Although, it weighs 40lbs, but has wheels so I am able to roll it around and does fold up somewhat compatible.
